Winter Fun 2014

I can't believe I slacked SO hard on my blogging.  We had an excellent winter and enjoyed everything about the whole season!!!

Addison was an excellent present wrapper.

Our ward had a Christmas breakfast and the kids got to do a craft, eat, make hot chocolate, and meet Santa.  Later that day the community had a "Shop the town" type thing.  They had a Santa Clause there too, and even a horse drawn carriage ride!  It was such a windy awful day, so Stewart and Cash opted to stay home. These two bundled up tight and braved the winter to enjoy some fun!

 Cash got the cutest hat and mittens for his birthday from Grandma Jensen.  They were a little snug, and they weren't his favorite to wear, but he humored us anyway.  He's always such a good sport.

 One day while the kids and I were in Twin we decided to attempt a sit down lunch at Sherris.  It was SO FUN! Cash was a total rockstar with his awesome hair!

 We have a magnet on our fridge of a beaver and it says "Dam it"  Brogan just thought it was hilarious one day to ask me over and over what that magnet said.  what a goofy boy!

Brogan thought it was hilarious to eat his nose (which made Addison cry).  So we had to replace the bitten nose with a fresh carrot. silly kids!

This huge bull-snake was in my back yard.... in the middle of town... Seriously- I live in town!  It's supposed to be one of the "perks" to living in town.... right?  I'm so grossed out by this!  Thankfully our Emmett dog knew something was up and barked it to our attention!  He's a keeper that old boy!

Hot Tub!!!!!!

This year I've been wanting a Hot tub... BAD!  So when we found this guy on a Buy/Sell/Trade page we couldn't resist!  Stewart got it for me for Mother's Day, and I gave him the gift of wiring/switching out the Breaker Box for Father's Day ;)  It sat on the trailer for what seemed like an eternity, but eventually with the help of my Mom, Dad, Jon, JoAnna, Stewart, and two neighbors we got it put into it's new home.

I strung up some lights on our porch (which is still an unfinished project) and it really made it such a nice place to hang out!

I can't tell you how much I love sitting in the hot tub with the lights on after the kids go to bed!

We also finished putting sod in our yard!  No more dirt patch!

We have loved having a full backyard to do things in.  A weenie roast with Weston and Paisley was so fun!

Winter Weather 2013-14

 We've had a super weird (super pretty) frost hang around this winter.  It was so beautiful!

 Emmette wasn't quite sure about having to be outside while it was so cold! (He does have a dog house and a heating pad though!)

And it finally did snow some.  The snow is always beautiful at our house! This is the view out my front door.  I'm a lucky lady. 

Rewind... A little bit of it all

I haven't posted in so long that there's no clean cut way to catch up, so we're just going to go in order of the pictures from my phone (the only camera we currently use).  So here's a mash up of  our spring/summer/fall 2013 (In a couple of posts)

"Helping" Grandpa Funk.  His neighbor was building a shop, and it was very interesting to all!

 My friend Malan had a baby boy this spring and had a super fun "Mustache Bash" baby shower.  It was great to get together with all my friends from high school and be goofy again.

 The same night my friends Tiffany and Ross Koyle had their wedding reception in Gooding.  Can you tell that the kids LOVE going to these events (always sooo delicious) ;)

 I have worked my butt off and finally got to a place where I was happy with my physic.  (Now I'm pregnant and it still amazes me how quickly your body can change back to flabby when it took so long to get it where you wanted.... and Yes- I have big plans for post-pregnancy shredding!)  Jaime and Dustin are my workout buds.  Never could have done it every morning at 5:30 am without them and their motivation, competitiveness, silliness, and pure awesomeness.  These two are pretty great.

The kids love to dress themselves now, and help each other get ready to go.

 We did a little landscaping this year... We took out that tree and a few others on the other side of the shed.  We dug out all those rocks and added a fire pit.  (We have yet to fill that space with grass... but next spring it's project #1).

 We "Refinished" our deck (well- part of it).  Stewart pressure washed all the peeling paint off,

 sanded the big splinters a little

 Then did two coats of the rustoleum "restore" product.  It completely sealed the crappy wood on our deck and made it nice to walk on again.  Next spring we have to finish the little covered area of the porch, and all the rails/sides.  (I was too broke, tired and pregnant to worry about the rest of it this summer).

The kids got to meet their new cousin Bridger, who shares a birthday with Brogan! (and Lindy too).  They absolutely love him!  

Addison got to go to a Princess party for her friend Taylor.  She loved getting all dolled up! 

 Boys will be boys- We're supposed to be getting in the car, and they are both watching football....

 Addison fell and cut her chin open (just a little).  She needed a band-aid though, and insisted on putting it on herself.  Just a wee bit high- but boy did it help!

 Addison has been letting me fix her hair more and more... and she's also very into fixing her own hair too!

 She has a good sense of what's stylish. ;)

 Stewart graduated from the University of Idaho with his Bachelors degree!!!  Couldn't be more proud of him!  (Watching his graduation online -I made him wear my cap since we couldn't make it to Moscow... he was thrilled)

 By the way- did I mention I'm PREGNANT!?!   Baby #3 is due December 7th! Our little baby boy will be making an appearance soon!
