This weekend Stewart went hunting with his brother in law Micah. Last year he had a hard time getting his deer (I think mostly because he couldn't really see anything) but this year was different story. This year Stewart managed to get his deer!

failure.... my option
In High School my senior year our school-wide motto was "Failure is not an option". I think this is the stupidest phrase I've ever heard because in real life failure is a true option and several people choose to take it everyday. In fact, I think that if we never fail then we can never know true success (I know that's a quote but I don't know by who). So this post is my little white flag. I have not, and will continue to not be successful in my posting everyday challenge. It's something I thought I could do, but evidentally, (and I'm learning through failure) that it's something I can't/won't do. Please don't feel sorry for me, MY high school motto was "Failure is my option", so in a way I'm reliving the glory days and fulfilling my high school goals :)

SHE HAS A NAME!!! So I've finally decided on a name for this little cutie. I want you to know that I've never had SO much trouble naming a pet before, but she really stumped me! She's just the perfect amount of puppy and sweetness and I felt like I couldn't just name her anything! So I've decided to name her Tess. I think it fits her perfectly... now hopefully she'll learn to respond to it, I'm a little worried considering that she'll respond to "puppy" :)

Puppy Love
Last weekend we picked up our puppy in Dietrich and took her away for the day. She's such a mellow dog I hate to call her a puppy! She is so good when she rides in the car. I hold her on a sheet (just in case) but she just sits on my lap and looks out the window. She hasn't ever peed in the car, and when she needs to go she sorta whimpers a little bit and we let her out to do her business. We took her out to my parent's house so we could hang out with my siblings and she was just so chill. My parent's black lab was HUGE compared to her (so we kept them separated) but she did like the kittens. They didn't care for her too much, but she enjoyed following them around and watching them play.
When we took her in the house I set her down on the linoleum and she stayed there for a little while but she eventually belly crawled to the edge of the carpet and snuggled to sleep. People kept walking by and waking her up so she belly crawled under the piano bench and snuggled there. She's so cute and content!
After we took her to my parent's house we went to Twin and went out to dinner with Mekala and Hank. We left her at Hank's apartment (his roomies babysat :) and he took her home later that night. Before we went to dinner we stopped by our apartment and I had to try this little doggie outfit on her. After I put it on she wouldn't move out of this position! Pretty soon it started bugging her and she started trying to get out of it (which was the most "puppy-like" thing I've ever seen her do :) I think she's going to be a good dog once we get her settled in at our place in Gooding.

Today is our eight month anniversary!! Can you believe that we've been married that long? Most days it seems like we've been married for years, but when you look at the calendar it's hard to believe that it's already been eight months!
It's hard for me to pick just one wedding picture, so I posted a couple of my favorites.
(look how skinny I was!! :)

Picture of the Day... Day #12
This picture is from last Christmas at my parent's house. We were attempting to get some "engagement-worthy" pictures, but we just ended up with some really fun and "REAL" pictures. I love these pictures. Stewart kept making everybody laugh so either I'm laughing hysterically, his eyes are squinted shut from laughing, or the picture wasn't centered because the person taking it was laughing! Here's one more shot of the "real" us.

I LOVE These kids!!! And I miss em like crazy!! I can't wait to see them at Christmas!
Our nephew Dalton. When they were here this summer we had so much fun playing! Dalton and Cora are such smart kids, and VERY energetic! We took a trip to Twin with them and they were so entertaining! Dalton had the cutest Buzz Lightyear "Two infinite and Beyond!" thing going on, (and a little bit of spider man in this picture)
Cora is definitely one of the cutest little girls I know! She has so much personality and is so much fun! Grandma Nancy bought her these cool new shoes that she loved! I love it when Cora calls us on the phone! She can be a little chatter box if she's in the mood! I love her so much!!
And this is Liza. I can only hope to have a baby as content and happy as this little girl! While Lee and Becca were here we planted the garden out in Dietrich and we had to go to town to get some carrot seeds. We loaded up Dalton and Liza and took them to Shoshone. Liza LOVED the hilly roads. Whenever we would go over butterfly hills she would start giggling like crazy! This picture was taken on our way home from Twin Falls after we'd had a good long day of heat, shopping and McDonalds (and Lee and Becca had been at the temple all day). Is it amazing that she's still happy and smiling??? I keep praying for a good baby like this! :)

So this is a wedding picture I know you haven't seen. Along with our photographers my mom also took pictures on our wedding day. I'm glad she took this picture. It just reminds us how slick tuxedo shoes can be on marble :) I had to lead Stewart up and down the steps so he wouldn't slip... not even kidding. What a funny guy!

"Ode to the Egg Days"
This picture is just a snapshot of my old daily life. Yup... that's about how many eggs I (or my mom) would wash in a day during the summer. I had three-hundred chickens and my own Sunrise Eggs Business! Although I definitely don't miss those days, I am glad for the experience and for all the help my family gave me through the years of my entrepreneurship! :)

(I'm still catching up :)
This picture is from our yellowstone trip we took this summer with Stewart's family. Debbie, Loni and Ada came down and we all road-tripped to Yellowstone. Here is Stewart and Loni at the falls (I forgot the name). We love our little nieces and nephews... (especially Loni :)

Picture of the Day... Day 3
~November 3~
So today's picture is from when I was wedding dress shopping. I can remember this day like it was yesterday! First we went to David's Bridal and I found something SO simple... and that's what I thought I wanted (I think mostly because they didn't have such a great selection of temple worthy dresses). So then we went to store after store only to be disappointed. We finally found this little dress store that was chuck full of modest dresses!! I was so excited!! Even after such a long day of shopping I had the energy to look at and even try on almost every dress they had! I fell in love with this one when I put it on, and knew right away that this was the dress!!
(Can you believe how skinny I was??? I have certainly missed jazzercise :)
(No wonder Stewart wanted to take me off the market ;)

Random Picture- Day 2
~November 2~
Yup... we're prettty much just that cool :) This picture was taken when we were tailgating this summer with Hank and Mekala at my parent's house. We roasted some weenies and shot some skeet. I'm pretty sure I posted about this, but I'm also pretty sure that I did NOT post this picture then... So now that I'm digging through my "unused" photos, I'm going to have to let the real us shine through a little and let you all know how normal we really are :)

So lately with the lack of exciting news in our day to day life, I've decided to (copy Jami) and do a picture a day for a month. I'm just going to pick random pictures that don't get much attention and share the good little memories of em!
(So I'm starting with yesterday so I can do a full month)

This is a picture from last December at our "Girls Night In". It was kinda funny... we were supposed to have a girls night out with all of our "far away" college buddies, but none of them could make it, so we (the Twin Falls CSI crew) decided to make a night of it! We built a fort, ate cookie dough and drank a LOT of Mountain Dew and had one of the best night's ever!
I love these girls and miss them like crazy!!!
Good times!
