This year the kids and I decided to start our own little seedlings instead of buying them half grown. It was a bunch cheaper, and next year we may venture into making our own newspaper peat pots to save even more.
We planted, then put the pots in a tucker tote "greenhouse" to get em started. They grew beautifully, and are now in the garden. My plants were doing awesome until those darn bugs found them. They're looking a little sad now, but I think they'll outlast the summer. More to come on the garden front!
Just cut T.P. rolling in half and either set them in egg cartons or just in a tub of some kind(the egg carton worked really well for me. That way it stays super super cheap
