I've been busy giving all the full details on Cash's own blog (cashwallacebingham.blogspot.com) but thought I'd better give you a litle peek into what we've been up to lately.
Cash had his first surgery on February 20th. He had his cleft lip repaired, and had tubes put in his ears. He has been doing great (been a little grumpy the last few days due to drainage in his ears and moving gums) and is a happy little guy most of the time. Here are a few pictures from our first trip, and if you'd like more details head on over to his blog.
This is the night before surgery. Addison drew us a picture to take. I love it :)
Thursday morning pre-surgery (before they moved us to later in the day). Sure was a happy little bugger!
After being pushed later in the day, we were waiting in pre-op for what seemed like FOREVER with a baby who was seriously hungry! :)
The surgery took 3 full hours. We attempted this puzzle, but deemed it too hard and boring. Next time we'll know to bring our own (doable) puzzle. In our room at the hospital. We both spent the night there, and switched on and off from holding Cash and trying to catch a few zzz's on the couch.
Little man was content as long as he was being held.
He's still pretty swolen here, but doesn't he just look amazing?
My Mom and JoAnna were kind enough to bring the kids up to see us. I sure missed them!
I was able to play with them a little in the playroom at the ronald McDonald house and outside. We had fun and it was just the break I needed.
